I woke up looking this good. Winter camping can be an amazing experience. You get to be out all night in silence, have the hills to yourself, enjoy a lazy sunrise bringing a little warmth to the land. However, the cold temperatures mean you are at a great risk for hypothermia. You need the right equipment and the right attitude and know-how to make this work! While most people will give the mere thought of sleeping outside in winter a pass, a few brave souls will embrace the challenge and have a much more memorable experience than a weekend on the sofa on a Netflix binge.
